Terms of use

If you deposit data, you are confirming that you have the right to share it and that the terms you record are accurate. Emperix screens uploads for identifying information and will tell you what it finds, but that is a check, not a guarantee, and it does not transfer responsibility. You know your subjects; we do not.

If you receive data, you agree to use it only as the terms allow and only for the purpose you stated. Access granted to you is yours alone and must not be passed on.

Running the exchange as described, enforcing the terms depositors set, keeping the access record accurate, and telling you if something goes wrong that affects your data.

We cannot recall a file that has already been downloaded. Withdrawing access stops future access; it does not reach a copy someone already holds. Any platform claiming otherwise is misleading you.

We cannot make you compliant with data protection law. That rests with you and your institution.

You can close your account at any time. We may suspend an account that breaches these terms or misuses somebody's data, and we will say why.

If Emperix were to close, we would give notice and time to export everything.

These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia.
